LITTLE FALLS -- The Morrison County Sheriff's Department arrested a 23-year-old Little Falls man at 3:18 a.m. Friday after he fled from officers first by vehicle and then by foot
It was reported that the four-minute chase started when officers tried to stop a vehicle on Highway 27, after receiving complaints about the suspect. The suspect fled from officers in the vehicle by driving eastbound on Highway 27 and continued to 11th Street Northeast. The suspect drove the vehicle through a resident's lawn to a parking lot at an apartment complex on Sixth Avenue Northeast. The driver then exited the vehicle and ran south to the apartment buildings in the Chi Rho Addition on 11th Street Northeast, authorities reported.
Officers pursued and caught the suspect a short distance later. The suspect is in custody in the Morrison County jail. Formal charges are pending with the Morrison County attorney's office.
The Little Falls Police Department assisted with the arrest.
