PEQUOT LAKES - Nathan Lehman pitched a complete game, with seven strikeouts, to outduel Kyle Pribyl and the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 2-1 in the first game of a Mid-State Conference doubleheader Tuesday.
Pribyl also went the distance, scattering six hits with four strikeouts and one earned run.
The Patriots' bats came alive in a Game Two 12-4 win that saw Pequot drill 13 hits in support of starting pitcher Jordan Severance.
Lehman was 3-for-3, Chase Mason went 3-4 with a double and Casey Christianson collected two hits, including a double, for Pequot. Kurtis Moody had two triples in the doubleheader for the Patriots.
Kyle Leonard and starting pitcher Nathan Henningson each had two hits and Mark Hoge tripled for C-I.

NEW YORK MILLS - Justin Ringler pulled double-duty, striking out 11 batters while going 4-for-4 with six RBIs, to lead the Pillager Huskies to a 12-7 victory over the New York Mills Eagles in Park Region Conference action Tuesday.
Tyson Bell and Shawn Baron collected two hits apiece while Jordan and Cole Hunstad each drove in a pair of runs for the Huskies.

STAPLES - Staples-Motley denied Perham a perfect season in Mid-State Conference play as they defeated the Yellowjackets 4-3 in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday.
Perham came back to win the second game and win the conference at 11-1.
Gunner Johnson pitched six innings and earned the victory in Game One for the Cardinals. He was also 2-3 with a run scored.
Jordan Riewer provided the big hit for Staples-Motley in the second game with a two-run triple. Alex Jansson added a double as the Cardinals finished at 8-4 in conference play.

HOWARD LAKE - Mitch Woitalla was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Travis Kahl pitched 7-plus innings in relief in Pierz's 8-6 victory in the second game of a Central Minnesota Conference doubleheader Tuesday.
Kahl struck out seven, walked three and allowed six hits as Pierz rallied from a 4-0 deficit.
In the first game Pierz gave up six unearned runs to send the game into extra innings with two out in the eighth. A throwing error allowed the seventh unearned HL-W-W run to score.
Mitch Woitalla was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in the Pierz first inning and finished with three RBIs and two runs. Tyler Monson, Mike Weber and Mike Poser each had two hits for the Pioneers.

The Flyers were done in by Cardinals pitcher Jordan Smith, who was 3-3 with a double and pitched the victory.

Colby Schmidt drove in two runs while Dan Weiher went 1-for-3 with a run and RBI for the Pirates.
