Activities: Drama, Gay-Straight Alliance Club president and Spanish Club president.
Bre Storlie, who earned the title of Brainerd High School's top graduate in the Class of 2009, enjoys the outdoors and reading. Part-time work: As a counselor at Camp Roundelay, a Girl Scouts camp in northern Wisconsin this summer. She also will lead outdoor trips to the Boundary Waters, Apostle Islands and Voyageurs National Park.
For relaxation: Canoeing, camping, hiking, skiing, reading and drawing.
Future plans: Attend Scripps College in Claremont, Calif., majoring in organismal biology with a concentration in environmental studies. Then she would like to join the Peace Corps, then attend graduate school, then do research in South America on rain forest frogs, then become a professor at a small liberal arts college.
Most memorable high school moment: The first Gay-Straight Alliance meeting junior year when suddenly I had a bunch of friends I could be myself with.
