Lydia Kiehlbauch, 93, Brainerd, formerly of Bismarck, N.D., died Monday, May 10, 2004, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
She was born Jan. 13, 1911, in Zap, N.D., to Adam and Marie (Becker) Weigum. She married Gottlieb Kiehlbauch on May 29, 1929, in Zap, N.D. They owned the Standard Oil Co., in Zap, N.D., and the Hiway Motel in Bismarck, N.D. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bismarck, N.D.
Survived by her son, Gerald of Brainerd; her grandchildren, GeRae of Brainerd, Debra (Jeff) Hines of Hackensack, Kevin (Dianna) of Brainerd, and Mark (Cheryl) of Littleton, Colo.; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter-in-law, Edna, four sisters, and four brothers.
Services will be Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Hazen, N.D. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2004, in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bismarck, N.D. Friends may call on Monday, May 17, from 3-7 p.m. at the Seibel Funeral Home in Hazen, N.D. Local arrangements are with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home.
