Gobblers second in GRC

CAMBRIDGE - The Aitkin Gobblers finished second in the Great River Conference meet Monday at Purple Hawk Country Club and placed second in the final conference standings for the season.

Kayla Schaaf's 99 led the Gobblers in the GRC meet. Her 48 earned her medalist honors in a GRC dual meet against Hinckley-Finlayson that was based on the first nine holes.

Team scores: 1-Isle 372, 2-Aitkin 412, 3-Pine City 412, 4-Rush City 423, 5-Moose Lake-Willow River 484, 6-Braham 486, 7-Onamia 510, East Central and Hinckley-Finlayson incomplete

Medalist: Anna Goetsch (Isle) 87
