FRIDAY: MUSIC

Rockin' for a cause

5 Stars for Failure, featuring former Aitkinites, will perform 7 p.m. Friday at the Aitkin High School Auditorium to raise funds for the Aitkin Skatepark Committee. 5 Stars will bring along their fellow Twin Cities band Gloria for the $5 show.

FRIDAY: MUSIC

BHS choir goes pop

Brainerd High School choir students will close out the school year in fine fashion with their annual spring pop concert 7:30 p.m. Friday at Tornstrom Auditorium, Washington Educational Services Building, in Brainerd. Admission is $5.

SATURDAY: MUSIC

Skillful Skillet

Some like Skillet because they're Christian, some like 'em because they rock. Either way, the mosh pit is likely to be thrashing 7 p.m. Saturday at the Forestview Middle School cafetorium in Baxter. Everyday Sunday and Kids in the Way open the show. Tickets are $13 in advance and $18 at the door.

SUNDAY: television

Still yellow, still funny

"The Simpsons" will cap an uneven season (although you have to admit last week's "American Idol" and "Left Behind" parodies were funny) with two episodes starting 7 p.m. Sunday on Fox.

WEDNESDAY: MOVIES

The final chapter

"Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" hits the screen midnight Wednesday (OK, 12:01 a.m. Thursday if you want to be picky) at area theaters such as Baxter's Movies 10 at Westgate and Jenkins' new Sunset Cinemas. May the Force be with you (and, more importantly, the film).
