Trish Daly and Susan B. Rogers were winners of the low-putts game on the Garden Course and Kari Dayton and Pat Kaminski won on the Pines May 3 during the Grand View Lodge Women's Outing.
The next outing is May 17 at the Garden Course and Pines. Interested players should call (218) 963-8767 by noon May 16 to sign up. Players do not need to be members of Grand View Lodge to play.
Bzdok double winner at Legacy
Donna Bzdok won two flights and Nadine Fraki won another flight May 3 during the women's day at the Legacy Courses at Cragun's.
Longest putts were by Nancy Gorron and Susan Goll.
Pine River results
Arlene Gamache won the low net score game May 5 during the Pine River Country Club Woman's Golf League.
Second place went to Audrey Holland and Mary Jean Herdey was third.
The league is playing 10 a.m. each Thursday in May and 9 a.m. June 2 through Sept. 8.
Coffee and sign in is at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Women of all ages are welcome. The game of the day May 12 will be low net score and longest drive.
Pink Ribbon Classic
Planning is under way for the second annual American Cancer Society's Brainerd Lakes Area Pink Ribbon Golf Classic June 21 at Grand View Lodge's Pines and Garden courses.
Last year's event raised nearly $9,000 for breast cancer education, advocacy and research. The entry fee of $100 per person for the Pines and $65 for the Garden includes golf, cart, prizes, dinner, program and silent auction.
