Jean E. LeDoux
Jean Evangeline LeDoux, age 83, resident of Brainerd and formerly of Duluth, went home to the Lord on Friday, May 7, 2010, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, Minn.
Jean was born to Gilma and Frank Hollingsworth on Sept. 20, 1926, in Columbus, N.D. Jean married her loving husband, Vernon A. LeDoux, on Dec. 9, 1946. Jean belonged to the VFW Auxiliary in Duluth, taught catechism, and did volunteer work at the Lakes Area Senior Activity Center. She enjoyed baking, sewing and spending time with family and friends.

Jean is survived by her husband, Vernon LeDoux; son Loni (Jeannie) LeDoux; daughter LeAnn (Dan) Bergman; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Florine Dowling and Myretta Dowling; her brothers, Kenneth Hollingsworth and Verl Hollingsworth; her son, Jerry LeDoux; and daughter, Jody Joy LeDoux.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Rev. Robert Twiton officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery, Duluth.
