Correction / clarification

The Dispatch incorrectly reported that no representative of the U.S. Post Office attended a Brainerd public hearing on the Laurel Street project and a separate meeting with city officials and affected property owners. Postmaster Warren McQuay said he attended both of the meetings. City officials have a record of McQuay's attendance at the property owners' meeting but no record of his attendance at the public hearing.

The Dispatch regrets the error.
