Whining? These students aren't whining. They've had a lot of changes over their high school career. Every time they speak up, they are patted on the head and told how well their class has done. Perhaps these adults should let the students really tell them how they feel.
Other noise would leave
I just wanted to suggest that the county purchase the Koep home and then possibly a lot of other noise would leave the county as well.
No sweat
A recent voice to Vox Pop wondered about the need for air conditioners at Washington. For years the staff and students had to sweat it out. Well, administration now resides there and they don't have to sweat anything, especially a new contract which is always very generous.
Doesn't that count?
I understand Councilperson Koep received money from the county for having to stay in a suite at a hotel ... But the woman who fell in a pothole on Fourth Avenue Northeast and broke her leg was denied money because of Councilperson Koep's deciding vote. What about that woman's health? Doesn't that count?
