Members of the Brainerd High School Vocal Music Department will present their annual Spring Pop Concert at 8 p.m. Friday, May 18, at Washington Middle School's Tornstrom Auditorium.
The concert will involve approximately 200 singers and dancers in an array of music from the 1920s to the 1990s. Featured groups performing in this fully choreographed and specially lighted production will be A Cappella Choir, Bards and Concert Chorale, as well as Windfall, Herd of Bananas, For Women Only and other groups.
Michael Smith, BHS choral director, said, "This concert is packed with the fun kind of music that will have you humming and whistling these tunes when you leave the performance."
Songs include "When Will I Be Loved?" "Shake, Rattle and Roll," "Boogie Fever," "Rhythm Nation" and "Footloose" along with other familiar tunes.
Tickets will be available at the door at $3 for adults and $1 for students high school age and younger.

There will be a reception following the concert in honor of the graduating seniors.
