Friday night: Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain showers in the evening, then a chance of rain showers after midnight. Lows 35 to 40. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain showers. Highs 50 to 55. East winds 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain showers. Lows 32 to 37. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
Of note: According to the DNR, four openers saw a trace of snow, with 24 degrees the record low for the Governor's Fishing Opener (International Falls, 1996) and 91 the record high (Minneapolis, 1987). One in four openers sees measurable precipitation.
