CROSBY - The Rangers' Betsy Wehseler had a big day offensively, going 2-for-4 in a 6-5 game-one victory and getting three hits, including a triple, in a 7-3 game-two win over the Detroit Lakes Lakers in a Mid-State Conference doubleheader Tuesday.
Jenna Larson picked up both wins on the mound and Brita Johnson was 3-4 in the second game for Crosby-Ironton.

PINE RIVER - Jamie Ackerman's two home runs and 4-for-5 day at the plate paced Pine River-Backus to a sweep over Northome 11-0 and 17-7 in non-conference action Tuesday.
Tahnee Hamilton was also swinging a hot stick with a double in game two and a 2-2 performance in game one. Crystle Hamilton was 2-4 with a home run in game two, and Lyndie Walker took the win in game one and went 2-3 for the Tigers.

Sammy Marz was 3-4 with a two doubles and three RBIs and Kayla Lenz went 3-4 with two runs scored in the second game.

Nicole Bart earned the win on the mound and went 3-5 with three RBIs in the game-two win. Finck doubled and collected two RBIs while Cathy Kempe was 3-3 with two RBI.

The Gobblers Briana Croatt was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Lauren Eno was 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Kelsey Klucas had one hit and one RBI and Molly Studinski added a hit for Aitkin.

ST. CLOUD - Nicole Maslowski, Anna Bobick, and Ashley Koester each had a hit for the Little Falls Flyers as they were beat by the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles 4-1 in the first game of a Central Lakes Conference double header Tuesday.
The Eagles completed the sweep as they won the night-cap 9-4. Maslowski was 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs and Roxanne Backowski was 2-3 with an RBI.
