HIV-positive man who raped boy kills himself in prison

A Minneapolis man with HIV who was serving a 30-year prison sentence for raping a 4-year-old boy has killed himself, authorities said.

Gabriel Pugsley, 23, died April 26 in the Dodge Correctional Institution in Wisconsin where he had been transferred from Minnesota's Oak Park Heights prison in February.

Shari Burt, a spokeswoman for the Minnesota Department of Corrections, said Pugsley's death had been listed as a suicide.
