Nancy M. Haglund

CLOQUET -- Nancy Marilyn Haglund, 56, Cloquet, died Monday, May 7, 2001, at Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 25, 1944, in Cloquet to Allen and Florence (Sjogren) Maghan. She was a 1962 graduate of Wrenshall High School and attended Duluth Business University. She worked as a home health aide for the elderly and worked as a teacher's aide at Churchill School in Cloquet. She attended St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Esko.

Survivors include two daughters, Leah Pykkonen, Esko, and Laura Haglund-Howieson, Fargo, N.D.; her former husband, Robert Haglund, Cloquet; two grandchildren; three sisters, Sheila Rudnicki, Cloquet, Patricia Fornshell, Eden Prairie, and Sandra Peterson, Prescott, Wis.; two brothers, Larry Matten, Missoula, Mont., and Randy Matten, Phoenix; and a special friend, Roger Forstrom, Cloquet.

Her parents, and a brother, David Maghan, died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Esko. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cloquet. Memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church.
