LITTLE FALLS -- Ben House was the medalist as the Brainerd Warriors boys' golf team was edged out of first place by Alexandria at the Little Falls Invitational Tuesday.
When the competition was over, the Warriors and Alexandria each totaled 316 points. Scores of the top four golfers on each team are added up to determine that final score. In case of a tie, the scores of the fifth-place golfers are compared. That score enabled Alexandria to win the title.
The best individual round of the day belonged to House who fired a 72. The Warriors' Erick Holland and Justin Heitkamp each shot 81s while Joe Morgan carded an 82.
Chris Dobis of Little Falls shot a 77 to lead the Flyers, who placed fourth.
