Monda second again

FERGUS FALLS - Tyler Monda peppered his scorecard with five birdies to tie for second with a 1-under-par 71 in Wednesday's Fergus Falls Invite at Pebble Lake Golf Course.

Monda shot nines of 35 and 36 to lead the Brainerd Warriors to fifth.

Sean Halverson carded an 80, Jackson Ronnei 82 and Michael Foley an 84 for the Warriors' 316.

The Little Falls Flyers finished 14th with 344.

The invite was also a Central Lakes Conference meet. Fergus Falls, which won the event with a 296, closed to within one point of conference-leading Alexandria. The Warriors remain in third place, but only two points ahead of St. Cloud Tech.
