Alexis Trae Tuttle, 5-year-old daughter of Michael and Tammy Raddatz, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Minnesota pageant to be held Aug. 14 and 15 in Bloomington. Her sponsors include MN Home Care, family, friends, Imgrund Motors, All State, Giovanni's Pizza, Brainerd Savings and Loan, Supreme Mobile Court and Denise Blood's Little Oaks Child Care.

Blessing of the Boats
BAXTER -- Lord of Life Lutheran church in Baxter will conduct a "Blessing of the Boats" at 6:30 p.m. May 8. Boat owners of any size are invited to bring their boats to receive a blessing for safety in the coming season. A hot dog supper will follow. For more information call 828-9374.
