Days will be getting longer for Angie. School will soon be out for summer vacation and her two older siblings are busy with their own Kinship Partners. Second-grader Angie has been waiting for over a year for a special adult mentor to come into her life.
This little girl, with the most amazing impish smile, lives with her mother, brother and sister in a happy household near Pequot Lakes filled with guinea hens, bunnies and lots of TLC. Missing is her father and the chance to share real one-on-one time with another adult. Mom says Angie is quiet but active and enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities. She loves to skate and dribble the basketball, but also is interested in painting, singing and doing crafts. Angie would thrive with a mentor who could keep up with her "on-the-go" nature. Tending her many pets is important to her and the chance to go to a circus would really make her day.
Angie prefers to spend time with her family, but does have a couple school friends. She struggles a bit with reading and math, but has a good attitude towards school.
Do something to fill a lazy summer day with excitement. If you can, help Angie off the waiting list and enable her to share in the enriching opportunities that her siblings are experiencing through Kinship Partners.
