Marlin A. Vickstrom

McGREGOR -- Marlin A. Vickstrom, 13, McGregor, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at Riverwood Health Care Center of Aitkin.

He was born Feb. 19, 1987, in Coon Rapids to Richard and Robin (Stahlberg) Vickstrom. He had attended preschool and first and second grades at Andover and then he was home-schooled. They moved to the McGregor area in 1998.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Shane and Shawn Vickstrom, McGregor; a sister, Katie Vickstrom, McGregor; grandfathers and a grandmother; great-grandparents, Edgar and Doris Slingsby, Ansley, Neb.; and special friends, Mike and Glee Spartz, McGregor.

His grandfather, Marlin A. Vickstrom, died earlier.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church of McGregor with the Rev. Dallas Smith officiating. Burial will be in Salo Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon-1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
