Music General dancers take home the hardware

Music General dancers recently competed at the Showstopper Dance Competition at Northrop Auditorium on the University of Minnesota campus. The dancers received 17 Double Platinum awards, nine Platinum awards and nine Gold awards.

"My Boyfriend's Back" Petite Intermediate Large Group Jazz placed first in the Top 10 Mini Large Groups and "Je T'aime" Junior Small Lyrical Group took first in the Top Ten Junior Small Groups.

"Dance Dance" Senior Elite Large Group Tap placed first in the Top 10 Senior Large Groups and "Blue Girl Group" Teen Elite Line Tap placed first in the Top Seven Senior Super Groups. "Bye Bye Blackbird" Randie Swanson Senior Tap Solo had the highest score in the Top Ten Senior Solos.

Music General Instructors are Sue Kuhn, Mabelle Tamasy, Amy Borash and Roseanne Reed.

Music General Junior age dancers the Sparklers (age 8 and under), Crystals (age 9-10) and Sapphires (age 11-12) recently received awards at the Showstoppers Dance Contest in Minneapolis.
