The Denny Hecker Toyota/Scion dealership remains open in Baxter and there is no sale pending, according to a Hecker spokesperson.
The Hecker Toyota dealership in Baxter "is still business as usual," said spokesperson Paul Omodt.
Omodt said employees are being paid.
There have been times over the past several weeks where employees have said they have not been paid on time.
Phone service has been restored. Late last week the phone lines were not in service.
Employees lost their self-insured health plan as of May 1. They were given options for purchasing their own individual health insurance plan.
Hecker, who owns more than 100 business entities, is looking at any and all options, Omodt said, noting it's his intent at this time to continue to operate the Baxter Toyota dealership. "His whole business is being retooled," Omodt said.
The Star Tribune reported Hecker has closed or sold 25 of his new and used car dealerships in Minnesota over the past several months.
His only remaining dealership is the Baxter Toyota/Scion.
