ASSAULT - Received a report of an assault at 1:58 a.m. Sunday at a residence on the 1000 block of Oak Street. The suspect, a 29-year-old man, fled from the residence before officers arrived but later turned himself in and was arrested for third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He is being held in the Crow Wing County Jail.
ARRESTS - Arrested a 14-year-old girl for obstructing the legal process, damage to property, disorderly conduct and possessing tobacco after receiving a report of juveniles causing a disturbance at 11:13 p.m. Saturday on the 700 block of Third Avenue Northeast. The 14-year-old was transported to the juvenile detention center in Grand Rapids. A 15-year-old girl was cited for misdemeanor providing a false name/date of birth to a police officer.
Arrested a 30-year-old man for gross misdemeanor probation violation/violating a no-drink order after it was reported that he was drinking Saturday at the Iron Rail Saloon, 707 Laurel St.
Received a report at 7:11 p.m. Friday of a man on a bike blocking traffic on the Mill Avenue bridge. It also was reported that the man had a confrontation with one motorist and assaulted him. The 19-year-old suspect was arrested for fifth-degree assault, fleeing, disorderly conduct and damage to property. He is being held in the Crow Wing County Jail.
THEFT - Joshua Backstrom, 1000 block of Norwood Street, Sunday reported the theft of his wedding ring.
Reba Singer on Saturday reported her bike stolen while at Giant Wash, 1224 Oak St.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers were dispatched at 11:47 p.m. Saturday at Wolves Street and Warrior Avenue for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer made contact with the driver and determined everything was fine - the driver was just enjoying the fine evening and watching deer.
ARREST - Received a report at 9:15 p.m. Friday of an intoxicated man at Applebee's, 15240 Dellwood Drive. The 39-year-old man was arrested for burglary, possessing burglary tools, violating a no contact order, possession drugs and drug paraphernalia.
THEFT - Lisa Kittleson on Sunday reported the theft from her vehicle while parking on the 7000 block of Glory Road.
INVESTIGATION - Received a report at 3:03 a.m. Saturday of a man covered in blood on the 7000 block of Excelsior Road. The man had been locked out of his condo and had injured himself trying to get back in. He was treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

BURGLARY - Douglas Brackin, 17000 North Eagle Lake Road in Fifty Lakes, Sunday reported a burglary.
