Michael J. Johnston
ST. PAUL - Michael J. Johnston of St. Paul, Minn., was born on November 15, 1957, in Brainerd to Harvey L. and Bonnie J. (Rice) Johnston. He died peacefully at his home and went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 1, 2010.

Michael enjoyed fishing and being with family and many friends. He was a member of the Amazing Grace Assembly of God Church in St. Paul and a devout Christian. He embraced life and enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include his father, Harvey Johnston; two sisters, Kathleen (Clinton) Deuel and Judith (Mark) Zahn; and a brother, David Johnston.
He is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie and brother John.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 6, at the First Presbyterian Church in Brainerd with Pastor Peter Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are with the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
