AITKIN - Margaret Catherine McConnell, age 92 of Aitkin, died Friday, May 1, 2009, at the Lakeside Medical Center in Pine City, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. from St. James Catholic Church in Aitkin with Fr. Paul Fruth officiating. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery in Aitkin. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are with the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.
