Law enforcement guests visit CLC

Career professionals who recently talked to students on the Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College included DNR conservation officers, a state trooper and a police chief. Here, Minnesota Conservation Officer of the Year Jeff Halverson (left) of Staples returned to his alma mater (1983 graduate) to describe his work and answer questions in the natural resources law enforcement program at CLC. Honor Student Jason Adams of Crosby queried Halverson about dangerous situations, wages and other issues. Dan Malinowski, a Brainerd native in field training as a recent officer academy graduate, joined Halverson.
