William Denny, 1000 block of Grove Street, reported Thursday the theft of a JVC compact disc/radio deck from an unlocked vehicle.

Cub Foods, 417 Eighth Avenue Northeast, reported Wednesday that there were two male shoplifters.

Lisa Ullrich, 500 block of Third Avenue Northeast, reported a theft Wednesday.

Peterson Towing, 916 Washington Street, reported a theft Wednesday.

Rodney Dechon, 1100 block of Pine Street, reported Wednesday a theft of a mountain bike.

Shilen Amin of the Red Roof Inn, 2115 Sixth St. S., reported Tuesday that a former employee took a laptop and has not returned it.

Tammy Wynn, 200 block of North Eighth Street, reported Tuesday that her daughter's bike, a yellow Mongoose worth $100, was stolen.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Brainerd police were called Thursday to a two-vehicle accident at North Second Street and Kingwood Street. The drivers were Jordan Hukriede, 16, Brainerd, and Toni Bock, 30, Brainerd.

Brian Ray, 800 block of Laurel Street, reported Thursday that a male skateboarder put a cigarette out on one of the security lenses at Burlington Northern Credit Union on April 29.

Amanda Bennett, 400 block of North First Street, reported Thursday damage to a vehicle.

Shannon Shepard, 300 block of North Ninth Street, reported Thursday damage to a vehicle.

Central Medical Supply, 217 N.W. Fourth Street, reported Wednesday that a vehicle driven by William Carlson, 20, Brainerd, hit a parked vehicle in its parking lot.

Received a report at Jaycees Park at Pine Street Southeast Tuesday that juveniles were tipping over picnic tables and dumping garbage cans.

A two-vehicle accident was reported Tuesday at 714 Industrial Park Rd. The drivers were Leon Schultes, 48, Brainerd, and Tron Olson, 43, Brainerd.

DISTURBANCE - Brainerd High School South Campus reported Thursday that a juvenile was out of control and requested officer assistance.

The Brainerd Public Library reported Tuesday a request to have officers remove children smoking and blocking the library's entryway.

WELFARE CHECK - Officers were called to the 600 block of James Street to do a welfare check. Forestview Middle School officials had called the home to see why the students were not in school and the caller heard the word "gunshot." It turned out that one of the students yelled "shotgun," meaning they were calling the front seat of the vehicle.

ASSAULT - Port Boys Group Home, 1406 Laurel Street, reported Wednesday that a student was assaulted.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - Susan Kobiela, First Assessment District, reported Friday that someone may have put explosives in her mailbox.

Shirley Hanson, First Assessment District, reported Wednesday that several mailboxes were damaged.

Thomas Aydt, Pelican Township, reported Tuesday that a vehicle struck a mailbox.

THEFT - Melodee Hagel, First Assessment District, reported Friday that her vehicle, which was parked in the garage and had the keys in it, was stolen.

Ellen Ernst, Deerwood, reported Thursday that she'd been divorced for several years and had not seen her ex since 2002 and he had been opening credit cards using her social security number.

Wild Rice Deport, 9360 Wild Rice Road, reported a gas drive-off Wednesday. Officers later cited the suspect.

Laurie Schultz reported that her 2 1/2-year-old Schnauzer was stolen April 21.

DISTURBANCE - Paul Althoff, Oak Lawn Township, reported Thursday that his daughter scratched him while fighting because she wanted money back that she gave him that morning to pay bills.
