Donn R. Bent

Donn Read Bent, 57, Brainerd, formerly of Phoenix, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at St. Therese Care Center, New Hope. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Florence Bent. Survived by loving wife of 20 years, Karen; son, Douglas; daughter, Dawn "Sweet Pea" Bent; brothers, Chuck (Mary), Tom (Lynn) Bent; sister, Sherri (Mrs. Robert) Davison; granddaughters, Amy and Sarah; stepchildren, Mike, Dan and Kari Pflepsen; many stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-granddaughter. Donn served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam and is a lifetime member of the Brainerd VFW. Graveside services will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Brainerd, at 1 p.m. Monday, May 7. Pastor Holte of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. A color guard from the local VFW Post will be attending.
