The Encore Art group would like to thank The Brainerd Dispatch for the nice writeup and display of the girls' pictures on April 24. They were happy their hard work was displayed so nicely.
I urge everyone to take the time to see these very nice paintings. I have seen how many hours these people have put into their paintings to get them just right.
The paintings will be at Brainerd City Hall and the Brainerd Public Library until July.
Don't sit home with nothing to do; come to the many art groups that are in town. If you don't know their names or where they meet check with Downtown Arts and Framing. We always welcome new members.
The benefits of joining are many. And we will help you critique your work. You'll also know of upcoming classes.

Heartland Animal Rescue Team would like to say a big "thank you" to Barb Olson and the ladies of the Pequot Lakes Women's Club for the wonderful help they provided by folding, stuffing, labeling and sorting our newsletters and also the member/supporter letters so they could be mailed out. The help was greatly appreciated.

On behalf of the Crow Wing County Volunteer Coordinator group and the Volunteer Network, we would like to give a sincere thank you to The Brainerd Dispatch for the space for the monthly volunteer column.
Because of your support we are connecting many volunteers to agencies that need them, we are able to give recognition to outstanding community volunteers and are able to highlight an agency of the month on this page. This effort is making an impact and we greatly appreciate your help.
