The students and staff of Harrison Elementary would like to thank Char and Bob Wrobel and all the members of the Lakes Area Caged Bird Club for their wonderful presentation last week. The kids were thrilled with the wide variety and awesome beauty of the birds that were shown. It's wonderful that this organization is willing to visit schools and share their love of birds along with stressing the responsibility needed to take care of these very special pets. Many Harrison students will probably be joining others who want to learn more about these feathered friends when people gather at the Armory for the annual Pet Bird Fair.
