MOORHEAD -- Ilya Kim's runner-up finish at No. 3 singles helped the Brainerd Warriors place fourth in Saturday's Moorhead Invitational tennis tournament.
Kim beat Paul Beyer of East Grand Forks 6-2, 6-1, and Ryan Kent of Park Rapids 6-3, 6-1, before losing 6-3, 6-3 to Jacob Engelstad of Thief River Falls.
Brainerd's Brett Travica was fourth at No. 1 singles, Jason Houle was fifth at No. 2 and Paul Kittelson was third at No. 4.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of Sean Switajewski-Josh Holbrook was fourth, Austin Schiltz-Ryan Imgrund teamed up to place third at No. 2 and Jeff Smith-Josh Bundy were sixth at No. 3.
