Crystal Price of Pequot Lakes is participating in Eurospring 2005 through Bemidji State University. She is a sophomore majoring in business administration. Eurospring is an eight-week study abroad program that extends from the middle of April through the middle of May. Students on this trip spend their first five weeks in Europe studying at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. Then the students depart on a three-week educational tour of Europe. The tour includes visits to places in France, Italy, Austria and Germany.

Jennifer Kay Wentworth, daughter of Steve and Sue Wentworth, Merrifield, was named to the dean's list for fall semester at North Central University, Minneapolis. She is a freshman majoring in music and is a 2004 graduate of Brainerd High School.
Grant Jaeche, son of Eric and Billie Jo Jaeche, a senior at Brainerd High School, has been accepted to Minnesota State University, Moorhead. He is a senior at Brainerd High School and plans to major in graphic arts or math.
Joshua Watson, Crosby, and Tasa Leikvoll, Little Falls, have received Minnesota Sheriffs' Association scholarships for 2005. The Association awards 15 scholarships each year to individuals planning to become Minnesota peace officers.
Glen Schmidt, Little Falls, is a member of the Academic Technology Center staff at Bemidji State University. He is a sophomore majoring in mass communications and is an assistant coordinator and technician for the ATC. The ATC is a resource center dedicated to helping students and staff with technology questions. It also manages a number of "smart classrooms" on campus equipped with computer connections and manages interactive television sites used to connect to remote sites.
Timothy Bill, a senior at Crosby-Ironton High School, has been awarded the Camras Scholarship from Chicago's Illinois Institute of Technology. He was among 22 of 576 students to receive the scholarship. He plans to study Aerospace Engineering at IIT.
Andy Miller, Nisswa, sang in the closing ceremony for the Student Scholarship and Creative Achievement Conference at Bemidji State University. He is a senior majoring in music education.
Nicole Femling, daughter of Pat and Brian Femling, is one of 51 St. Cloud State University students who has been inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the national scholastic honorary business society. She is a junior, majoring in marketing.
Anna Zimmerman, Brainerd, has enrolled in the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, set for June 26-July 5 in Los Angeles. The forum creates a virtual classroom with hospitals, clinical facilities and health care professionals. She will shadow key personnel and have an opportunity to gain a behind-the-scenes perspective on a medical career.
