Dorothy M. Sundberg

DULUTH -- Dorothy Marie Sundberg, 71, Duluth, formerly of Brainerd, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, in St. Mary's Hospice.

She was born Aug. 17, 1931, in Brainerd to Edward and Sophie Sundberg. She moved to Duluth in 1942. She graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1949 and from St. Luke's School of Nursing in 1952. She worked at St. Luke's Hospital for a number of years and then the Chris Jensen Nursing Home. She was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lakewood and Duluth Township.

Survivors include three brothers, John E., James David and Daniel, all of Duluth; and two sisters, Edna Sundberg, Duluth, and Elizabeth Homola, Battle Ground, Wash.

Her parents; two sisters, Esther Homola and an infant sister, Alice; and two infant brothers, Carl and Paul, died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Old Apostolic Church in Duluth.
