Former Crow Wing County Court Administrator Marge Williams is being remembered today as an energetic and wonderful boss.
Williams, 83, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. She worked in the Crow Wing County Court Administrator's office from 1965 to 1989, serving the last 13 years as court administrator.
Joyce Juracek, who worked with Williams for 20 years in the court administrator's office, said Williams was a pleasure to work with, and treated both the public and her employees well.
"We got a lot of work done and had fun doing it," said Juracek.
Lynn Holmes also worked for Williams in the court administrator's office. She described Williams as a "wonderful, absolutely wonderful boss."
Both Holmes and Juracek said after Williams retired in 1989, they remained friends.
"We became good friends," said Holmes. "She was kind of part of the family -- just wonderful to be around."
Upon her retirement, Williams received the Tower Award from the city of Brainerd.
Funeral arrangements are with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd.
