The Brainerd School District is gathering names for pre-school screening and kindergarten registration.
Parents with children whose birth dates are between Sept. 1, 1995, and Aug. 31, 1996, who have not been through an early childhood screening are asked to call the Early Childhood Center at 829-0412 to get on a list for an appointment.
The early childhood screening does not replace a well child exam with a doctor.
The pre-school screening is done free of charge for all attending any of the Brainerd area schools, public or private. The clinic is mandatory for children who will attend a public school. It will be conducted on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
