Elizabeth 'Bessie' Gard

PINE RIVER - Elizabeth "Bessie" Gard, age 64, of Pine River, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009. She was born March 17, 1945, in Brainerd to Ellis and Hazel Adamson.

Bessie is survived by her husband, Ed; son, Rick Gard (Donna); daughters, Brenda Gard (Steve Zierden), Tammy Annable (Kelly); brothers, John Adamson, Harold Adamson, Tom Adamson; sisters, Doris Seybold, Eunice Tiller, Patty Bowen; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joan Gard and Mary Taylor; and brother, Robert Adamson.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, May 4, at Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg, with Pastor Marlys Korman officiating. Burial will follow at Swanburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
