AITKIN - Ellen Rauschel went 2-for-3 at the plate with a triple and four RBIs and Kelly Hoge added two hits as the Aitkin Gobblers defeated the Pequot Lakes Patriots 8-6 in non-conference softball Monday.

PINE RIVER - Lindie Walker was 2-for-4 with a double and a three-run home run for Pine River-Backus but it wasn't enough as the Tigers fell short in a 5-4 loss to the Walker-Hackensack-Akley Wolves Monday.

LITTLE FALLS - Ashley Erickson, Kaity Beto, Melissa Fruechte and Michela Peterson all had hits but the Little Falls Flyers couldn't overcome eight errors as they were defeated by the Fergus Falls Otters 14-3 in Central Lakes Conference softball Monday.
