ST. CLOUD - With one player missing due to illness, the Brainerd Warrior boys' golf team finished third in a Central Lakes Conference meet during the St. Cloud Apollo Invitational at Territory Golf Club on Monday.
Brainerd's Curt Carlson, the No. 1-ranked golfer in Class 2A, shot 71 to finish behind medalist Alex Bahr of St. Cloud Tech.
The Warriors, ranked third in 2A behind only Lakeville North and Forest Lake, shot 308 to trail Alexandria's 298 and St. Cloud Tech's 306.
Rounding out the scoring for Brainerd, which leads the CLC standings, were Jared Hoppe 78, Mitch Means 79 and Tyler Monda.
