The National Association of Letter Carriers will have a local food drive on May 8.

Put your non-perishable food items near your mailbox on May 8 and a letter carrier will pick it up and deliver it to the local food shelf.

All proceeds will go to the Salvation Army Food Shelf in Brainerd.

The food drive is co-sponsored by Campbell's Soup and the National Association of Letter Carriers, Brainerd and Baxter.

Brainerd FFA chapter banquet

The Brainerd FFA Chapter banquet, featuring a celebration of the past 75 years, will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Brainerd High School cafeteria. Cost: $5 per person/meal. All past alumni and friends are invited and welcome to attend. Please RSVP by calling 829-9515.
