Unlimited Learning session
The sensitive issue of battered women is the subject of the next Unlimited Learning session. On Tuesday, the program "Is Domestic Violence a Private or Community Matter?" begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Hallett Community Center in Crosby. The annual Veterans of Foreighn Wars 1647 and its Ladies Auxiliary memorial services will be 7 p.m. Thursday at the Post Home, 309 S. 6th St.
This service is held annually to honor those comrades and sisters who have passed away during the past year.

The Lakes and Woods Horticultural Club will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mille Lacs Electric Cooperative meeting room in Aitkin. Please note meeting date change.
