STAPLES -- Wins by Matt Edin, Marius Schuetz and Dan Huebsch, along with a clean sweep of the doubles, helped the Staples-Motley Cardinals to a 6-1 Mid-State Conference tennis victory over the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines Friday.

MORA -- The Aitkin Gobblers tennis team ran its overall record to 11-4 with a 7-0 taming of the Mora Mustangs Friday.

Roman Haberkorn at No. 1 singles and Brian Hallberg-Adam Janzen at No. 1 doubles were 6-0, 6-0 winners.
