With much thanks, the family of Calvin Engholm would like to thank everybody involved in the benefit on Saturday, April 24 at the Legion in Ironton. A special thanks to everyone who helped with the auction, merchants who put up items for the silent auction and the food, and everyone who attended for their much needed help.

On behalf of Kinship Kids, Sophie, Willie, Alyssa, Taylor, and Nathan, I would like to thank the Fellowship of Christian Anglers Society (FOCAS) for a terrific afternoon of fishing last Saturday. Were they ever biting! By hosting this activity, you not only taught the kids how to fish, but showed them a healthy, happy, and social way to have fun. Thank you for caring about our youth, giving of your time, and for knowing so much about catching fish.
'We the people'
Thank you Diane Hauan, Tom Frid, Susan Thurlow and the cast, pit band and crew from Franklin Junior High and Mississippi Horizons. The musical, "We the People" was truly patriotic, very moving and yet funny and entertaining. The video honoring people from all branches of service was especially touching. You reinforced why we're proud to be Americans.

Wow! Your enthusiasm for our smelt fry truly overwhelmed us. We could not have anticipated the great response and turnout we had on April 17.
Whoops, consequently we ran out of smelt (even though we ordered more this year), and some of you could not purchase tickets and be served. Please accept our apologies and know that a much bigger order for smelt is in the works for next year.
Thanks for coming. We'll see you next year.
