Correction/clarification

Posted: Wednesday, May 01, 2002

An Open Forum letter on Page 4A Tuesday from Dudley Nord and his daughter Amanda Nord should have read, in part: Starting May 5, every week the track will attract over 170 riders ranging in ages 3 to 45 and older. ... I can't but feel that the BMX racers are being discriminated against by people who don't even know what it means to the kids of this area who aren't able to travel to tracks located far away. Why not let the Brainerd Lakes BMX purchase the land it is on, or even donate it to them as a kind gesture to the kids who love to race?

The Dispatch regrets the errors.
