MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Indianapolis-based American Trans Air will offer new daily service from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to Chicago's Midway Airport, the company announced today.

ATA will fly four times a day to Chicago on weekdays and three times a day on weekends, using Boeing 727 aircraft starting July 10.

South Haven man killed in farm accident

SOUTH HAVEN (AP) -- Authorities released the name of a South Haven man who died in a tractor accident.

Stearns County Sheriff Jim Kostreba said Floyd Reinhart Maurer, 64, was using his tractor to move logs on a hill when the machine overturned around noon Friday.

Maurer was pinned beneath the tractor and died at the scene, Kostreba said.

Man with 16 DWI convictions charged

DETROIT LAKES (AP) -- A Fergus Falls man with 16 previous drunken driving convictions has been charged with another violation.

Police said Danny Lee Boettcher was arrested Tuesday in Detroit Lakes after driving away from a gas pump with the hose still in the tank. If convicted of gross misdemeanor DWI, Boettcher could face up to a year in jail and a $3,000 fine.

Police said Boettcher was carrying several identification cards with different names and birthdates when he was arrested. Further investigation revealed Boettcher had gone by numerous names over the past 20 years.
