Displayed in a representation of the natural habitat, predatory birds fill one of three bird cages now in the second floor commons area at Brainerd High School. Dr. John E. Echternacht stuffed and donated the birds.

A geranium, nearly six feet tall, was grown from seed here as part of a school project. The girl with the green thumb is Lindsay Willis, 10, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Willis.

Over 250 seniors, their mothers and members of the faculty attended the annual Senior Tea given by the sophomore and junior mothers of the P.T.A. Mrs. Abe Zimmerman was in charge of the program.
80 years ago (1924)
Twenty-six years ago Mrs. Ida Kuchmichiel of this city, lost her wedding ring while they made their home in Red Lake Falls. Late last month her friend, while raking the yard in her home in Red Lake Falls, came upon the ring in the ground. She sent the ring to Brainerd and Mrs. Kuchmichiel was overjoyed.

Little Islea Sabin was given a party yesterday afternoon in honor of her third birthday. The little guests had a royal good time. Covers were laid for 12.
