"Minnesota Crime Wave," a group of four crime novel authors, will speak at 7 p.m. May 6 at the Brainerd Public Library as part of the First Thursdays series.

Admission is free.

Between them, Deborah Woodworth (the Shaker mystery series), Ellen Hart (the Jane Lawless and Sophie Greenway series), Carl Brookins ("Inner Passages") and William Kent Krueger (the Cork O'Connor series) have published 34 novels, won 15 national awards and appeared across the country.
