In regard to the tragedy of the shooting at Virginia Tech and now the attack on our gun rights, consider this: If there were a 32-car pile-up on a six-lane freeway in California caused by a drunken driver, would you blame the 32 cars for the accident or would you blame the impaired driver? Those cars didn't get in the accident by themselves and those two guns didn't kill anyone by themselves. This gunman's mind, his way of thinking, was also impaired, and that is what we need to work on - the reason for the killings, not the method used. If he had no access to a gun he could instead have gone on the Internet and learned how to make a bomb, or 10 of them, and used them instead.

Yup, its time we put our tails between our legs and crawl out of Iraq. Senate Majority Harry Reid says so. Never mind the thousands of our brave warriors who gave their lives there. Never mind that the cause is noble and just. Never mind that we Americans will once again, through our own lack of courage be seen worldwide as a hollowed out shell of what once made this country great.
