Pierz students compete in seat belt challenges

PIERZ -- The Pierz Students Against Destructive Decisions has been participating this month in the Morrison County Public Health Seat Belt Challenge.

The organization's last seat belt challenge will be Thursday. The students will participate in a Quick Click Buckle Challenge.

SADD members have competed in seat belt challenges all month. The challenge started with an initial seat belt check. A number of seat belt awareness activities have followed to promote seat belt use.

Schools in Morrison County that participated in the challenges will compete May 9 in Little Falls for trophy awards which include Greatest Rate of Seat Belt Use, Highest Increase in Seat Belt Use and Best Overall Campaign.
