A benefit for Jean Kaspar has been set for 4 to 8 p.m. May 5 at the Eagles Club in Brainerd.
Kaspar was diagnosed with cancer more than a year ago. Since that time she has had two major surgeries, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Much of her treatment has been in Minneapolis and Rochester. The benefit is being held to help with medical expenses and to show support in her battle against this disease.
Cost for the lasagna dinner is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Children under 5 can eat for free. Raffles will be offered throughout the afternoon, and an auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Axel and the Wheels will provide music.
Auction donations of new and used items will be accepted. Call Lois at 828-8371 to donate an item.
Donations can also be sent to the Jean Kaspar Benefit Account, c/o Bremer Bank, 321 S. Seventh St., Brainerd, MN 56401.
