Eva V. Luff, 89, Brainerd, died Friday, April 25, 2003, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
She was born Jan. 5, 1914, in Minneapolis, to Fred and Ellen (Benson) Hanson. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. She married James B. Luff in Minneapolis on March 13, 1934. She worked in Dayton's credit department for 18 years. She was widowed in 1974. She retired in 1979 and moved to Camp Lake near Pine Center. She was a member of the Light of the Cross Lutheran Church in Garrison. She was a past member of Eastern Star. She served as Camp Lake Sportsman's Association treasurer.
Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Kotten, rural Brainerd; a son, James Luff, Elk River; a sister, Dorothy Stepanek, Minneapolis; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Janet Nelson, a brother and three sisters died earlier.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Light of the Cross Lutheran Church in Garrison with the Rev. Chris Hill officiating. Burial will be in Dykeman Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the church. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
